Paper Crane Productions News

08.13.08 It has been an exciting year for us at Paper Crane Productions. We have had the opportunity to work with some of our idols in the business, see some of the best magicians in the industry and been able to film our art and share it with others around the world. One thing we have all realized in our adventures is that you HAVE to love magic to be in this business and be successful. If you don't love this art you really begin to question why you do what yo do. I can proudly say that we love magic and we excited to announce that Paper Crane Productions is releasing a fresh crop of material this year that is sure to stand out.

Sleeping Queen - Bring your card magic to life, literally. Dan Hauss teaches how to make a queen fall asleep and then visually wake up. The principle behind this is brand new and has many applications.

Technique- An impromptu revaluation of a spectators thought and you NEVER SEE WHAT THE SPECTATOR WRITES.

X Finger- Borrow a pen and make a drawing on your hand come to life, things vanish, they transform, they appear. Millions of uses for this prop less impromptu effect. This is a future classic.

01.15.07 This year we have some incredible new products coming out for the magic community. In 2007 we started our company with the goal of raising the artistic levels in magic through film production. We learned a lot in our first year and we have made some amazing friendships along the way. The one thing we have learned is that there is enough bad and impractical magic on the market and the last thing magicians need is another company out there pumping out mediocre effects. It is our promise to only release strong practical effects that have been tested in the real world. We will not be a company that rushes an effect out to be sold that is not worthy of your hard earned money. Ok so enough with the sales talk let me tell you what we have in store for 2008.

Our first release of 2008 could very well be the most talked about effect of the year Robert Smith's WOUNDED. It is a effect that is based on the religious phenomenon of Stigmata. I don't want to give too much away but this effect is extremely visual, powerful, impromptu and the DVD teaches several presentations for every performing situation from street to stage. After that we have a creation by Robert Smith that is best described as a mentalists dream come true. Finally we have more "in the can" from Dan Hauss creator of Flow and other amazing effects.

We also want to make Paper Crane Productions a company where artists can be sure that if they trust us to produce their effect then we will return the favor by investing the time and hard work it takes to make their DVD the best in the industry. Not only will we give your product the royal treatment we are also committed to giving our creators a fair share of the profits of their creations.
